The James Lind Alliance (JLA) is a non-profit making initiative which was established in 2004. It brings patients, carers and clinicians together to identify and prioritise the top 10 uncertainties, or ‘unanswered questions’, about the effects of treatments that they agree are most important. The JLA are a well-respected organisation working with some of the key figures in the medical world. In 2013 JLA set up a priority setting partnership for Spinal Cord Injury. The Rooprai Spinal Trust is honoured to be a partner for this project and our Co-Founder Andy is delighted to be a member of the steering group and to help shape the future of research. Dr Joost van Middendrop, from Stoke Mandeville Spinal Foundation, is leading the group which also includes members from; *Spinal Injuries Association * British Association of Spine Surgeons * Society of British Neurological Surgeons * UK Spine Societies Board *Transverse Myelitis Society *Cauda Equina Syndrome UK * For more information on this project please check out http://www.smsf.org.uk/sci-psp.htm
